  • If you plan to cover dependents, have their information handy before you enroll.

  • Complete your benefits enrollment within 31 days of your hire date. After this initial enrollment opportunity ends, you cannot change your benefit elections until the next Annual Enrollment period, unless you experience a qualified life status event, such as a birth or marriage.
  • If you do not plan to enroll in medical or dental coverage, be sure to elect the “Medical Opt-Out” and/or “Dental Opt-Out” option(s) to earn money back. (Note: If you currently have no medical or dental elections, taking no action during Annual Enrollment will automatically default you to “No coverage.”)

How to enroll

You have two easy ways to enroll in your benefits — online or by phone.

Enroll online through COMPASS

  • Outside the Huber Network: Log in to COMPASS at your convenience, any time of day or night, using any device with internet access. Follow the prompts to register your account.
  • Within the Huber Network: If you’ve already registered, you can seamlessly access COMPASS through single sign-on when connected to the Huber Network.

Enroll by phone at 1-844-347-9035

Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm Eastern Time.

What happens if you don’t enroll?

If you don’t actively enroll in coverage or select opt-out credits within 31 days of your date of hire, you will be defaulted to no coverage, and you will not receive any opt-out credits.

You will still receive coverage for plans and programs that are fully funded by Huber, such as basic life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, business travel accident, caregiver support, and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

After your new hire enrollment opportunity ends, you will not be able to enroll or make changes to your benefits until the next Annual Enrollment, unless you experience a qualified life status event, such as a marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, or a change in your or your spouse’s employment status that impacts your benefits eligibility.

Important reminders!

  • Make sure you’ve provided beneficiary information for your life insurance. Be sure to provide the necessary dependent information to enroll eligible family members. You must provide valid proof documentation within 31 days. You may upload proof documentation by logging in to your COMPASS account.

  • If you do not have online access, you may submit proof documentation to Empyrean via mail or fax at:

Decision support

Choosing the right medical plan is important for both your health and your financial well-being. These resources will help you understand your options and select the right coverage and value for you and your family.

  • 2024 Medical Plan Comparison – Compare the three medical plans available to you in a side-by-side view of your options.
  • 2024 Medical Plan Cost Scenarios – See how total estimated costs would differ with each medical plan for a variety of health care use scenarios.
  • Prescription Plan Cost Comparisons  – Gain a better understanding of your prescription drug costs with each of Huber’s medical plan options. Express Scripts offers an interactive tool where you can price a medication, find out what medications are covered, locate a pharmacy, and more.

TIP: Think about the whole cost.

When choosing a medical plan, it’s important to think about the whole cost of coverage — the amount you’ll spend out of your paycheck, as well as out of your pocket (copays, deductibles, and coinsurance).

You should also consider your expected health care costs in the coming year. For example, are you having a baby or planning a surgery? Looking at your estimated costs compared to the medical plan deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums can help you determine the plan that may offer the best coverage for your needs.

Step 2: Activate Your 401(k)

To help you start saving for retirement right away, you are eligible to participate in the J.M. Huber Corporation 401(k) Savings Plan as soon as administratively possible following your hire date.

Get started

  • Visit the Voya Financial website to enroll online at your convenience, any time of day or night.
  • Download the Voya Financial mobile app for an easy, secure and convenient way to access and manage your retirement account all in one place. The Voya Financial app makes it easy to manage your retirement savings while on the go. Download from Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store
  • Call 800-35-HUBER (800-354-8237) if you need assistance. Voya Financial representatives are available to help you Monday through Friday, from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (except for stock market holidays).

Automatic enrollment

If you don’t take any enrollment action — either enrolling or opting out — within 30 days of your date of hire, you will be automatically enrolled in the J.M. Huber Corporation 401(k) Savings Plan. At that time, 5% of your income will be invested in the Target Date Fund that most closely matches your expected retirement year, based on your date of birth.

If you do not want to participate or you would like to change your enrollment, such as increasing your contribution rate or making a different investment selection, visit the Voya Financial website or call 800-35-HUBER (800-354-8237).

Important reminder!

Make sure to provide beneficiary information for your J.M. Huber Corporation 401(k) Savings Plan account.

Change in initial PIN delivery method

We have learned that participants appreciate receiving initial PINs electronically because of the instantaneous nature of the delivery method and ability to immediately facilitate plan account transactions. To ensure that plan participants receive their initial PIN as soon as possible and to avoid any standard wait time attributable to U.S. Mail delivery, going forward we will generally provide Temporary PINs to plan participants electronically. The available electronic methods for delivery (e.g., work domain email, personal email, mobile phone number) will be presented to the participant for selection. If no electronic method of delivery is on file at Voya, or at the plan participant's preference, an initial PIN may be provided via U.S. mail.

Step 3: Set Up Your Direct Deposit

All US employees can access and manage their pay information through an online payroll self-service tool called MyPay (UKG). It’s available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any computer with internet access.

Set up your MyPay (UKG) account

  • Step 1: Go to MyPay (UKG).
  • Step 2: Enter your username: First letter of your first name, the first letter of your last name, your birth year (YYYY), and the last four digits of your Social Security number. (Example: Jane Smith, year of birth 1964, SS # 123-45-8613; username: JS19648613.)
  • Step 3: Enter your default password: Date of birth (MMDDYYYY) plus the last four digits of your Social Security number. (Example: Date of birth 02/28/1964, SS # 123-45-8613; password: 022819648613).
  • Step 4: You will be prompted to change your password and create/answer three security questions to allow for password resets in the future.

You can also use the MyPay (UKG) mobile app, available for Apple and Android, when you’re on the go. If you’re downloading the app for the first time, use the code: MyPayJMHuber.

View and update your pay information on MyPay (UKG)

You can use MyPay (UKG) to easily view and update your pay information. Here’s how to access the tool:

  • Outside the Huber Network: Log in to MyPay (UKG) at your convenience, any time of day or night, using any device with internet access. Follow the prompts to register your account.
  • Within the Huber Network: If you’ve already registered, you can seamlessly access MyPay (UKG) through single sign-on when connected to the Huber Network.

Once logged in, you can:

  • Add or update direct deposit.
  • Change tax withholding (Federal/State).
  • View and print your paycheck information.
  • Print your W2.
  • Preview year-to-date pay information.

We encourage you to visit the site and review your information:

  • All tax holdings will default to single zero if you don’t update your tax filing status.
  • Are you taking advantage of direct deposit? Enrolling is easy with MyPay (UKG).
  • If your personal information needs to be updated, contact your local HR Representative or access GPS.

Go “green”

You can help Huber reduce administrative costs, while helping to preserve our world’s resources — and it’s easy. Simply choose to receive your pay statements and W-2 electronically. You can make this choice at any time. No more paper means no more clutter. You can stop worrying about storing or losing paper pay statements. You can view and print your documents whenever you need them, 24/7, through MyPay (UKG).
